Supply Only

Supply only patients are not required to be homebound. Services must be ordered by a physician. Medicaid and Medicaid MCO insurances accepted.

Therapy

EPSDT (Early and Periodic Screening, Diagnosis, and Treatment) therapy services are available to anyone ages 3 -21 with a qualifying medical diagnosis and physician’s order. Medicaid, Medicaid MCO, and some private insurances accepted.

Waiver

Waiver is available for all Medicaid (traditional) eligible patients. Services can include housekeeping, grocery shopping, laundry, sitting services, medication planners, hearing aids, dentures, wheelchair ramps, and handicap accessible bathrooms.

Knox County Home Healthy Agency is a non-profit program of the Knox County Health Department and has been providing in-home care to the residents of Knox County since 1969.

Our agency provides skilled nursing services, physical, occupational, and speech therapy, and home health aide services. We also provide services under the Home and Community Based Waiver Program to deliver personal care, housekeeping, and respite services to qualifying individuals.

Home Health services are available upon a physician’s referral and are based upon the patient’s home care needs, homebound status, and the type of services required.

Nursing Services

The Knox County Home Health Agency has qualified RNs and LPNs providing nursing services which include but are not limited to:

  • Assessment/Observation

  • Catheter Care

  • Diabetes Care/Teaching

  • Disease Management/Education

  • Injections

  • IV Therapy

  • Medication Management/Education

  • Nutritional Counseling

  • Ostomy Care/Teaching

  • Pediatric Skilled Nursing

  • Skilled Nursing Evaluations

  • Tracheostomy Care

  • Tube Feeding Management/Education

  • Wound Care/Dressings

  • Wound Vac Care
