Knox County Child Fatality Review Board

The Knox County Child Fatality Review Board is group of local and state stakeholders from multiple disciplines, that work together in a collaborative process to share and discuss comprehensive information on the circumstances leading to the death of a child and to the response to that death. Efforts to understand the entire spectrum of factors that lead to a death may help prevent other deaths, poor health outcomes, injury, or disability in other children. The goal of this board is to understand childhood deaths in order to prevent harm to other children through education and prevention activities.
